What options are there for pain relief during labour?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<\/path><\/g><\/svg><\/span><\/path><\/g><\/svg><\/span><\/span>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We offer a variety of pain relief options during labour, including both stronger and milder methods - such as epidural anaesthesia (epidural) and painkillers, which we can administer via vein or as suppositories.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can I give birth with a hospital doctor or an in-patient doctor?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<\/path><\/g><\/svg><\/span><\/path><\/g><\/svg><\/span><\/span>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Both options are possible. If you decide in favour of a birth with Attending physician <\/a>you can choose a doctor from our list - this doctor will take care of your registration and will be present during the delivery. Alternatively, you can register directly via the Geisenhofer Medical Care Centre (MVZ) <\/a>where our clinic team will support you throughout the birth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How is aftercare organised?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<\/path><\/g><\/svg><\/span><\/path><\/g><\/svg><\/span><\/span>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

As a rule, mothers and their newborns stay with us at the clinic until the U2 examination, which is normally carried out from the third day of life. Until then, both are cared for by us. The first bonding and the first attempt at breastfeeding take place immediately after the birth, as these first moments together are particularly important for mother and child. Of course, outpatient deliveries are also possible at our clinic. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Visitors are very welcome at our gynaecological clinic in Munich! Our visiting hours are daily from 9:00 to 17:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to ensure optimal recovery for our patients, only one visitor per patient is allowed in the room at the Dr Geisenhofer Women's Clinic in Munich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For longer visits or discussions, you are welcome to use our cafeteria with terrace or our clinic garden. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

At our gynaecological clinic in Munich, we regularly offer information evenings on the subject of birth. The aim is to provide parents-to-be with comprehensive information and answer their questions personally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All areas of our obstetrics team are presented. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the event we will show you - if possible - one of our delivery rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Single, double and triple rooms are available in our gynaecological clinic. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Yes, you will find our premium single and family rooms on our private ward on the third floor. These rooms offer high-quality furnishings, are particularly spacious and flooded with light and have an unobstructed view of the surrounding green area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to your choice of room, you can take advantage of a range of services. Our in-house kitchen offers freshly prepared meals with a selection of healthy dishes tailored to your individual needs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Yes, definitely. You are welcome to have your partner or another person with you during labour and the entire delivery. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    When and how do I register for childbirth?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<\/path><\/g><\/svg><\/span><\/path><\/g><\/svg><\/span><\/span>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    If you would like to deliver your baby with our clinic staff: Please register for delivery directly via MVZ Dr Geisenhofer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you would prefer to be looked after by one of our affiliated doctors, please arrange a one-off appointment at the surgery of your choice \u2013 ideally between the 20th and 25th week of pregnancy. Your doctor will then arrange your registration for the birth at our clinic and will personally support you during the birth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A midwife will always be with you during the delivery.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    We want you to feel safe, supported and well looked after at every stage of labour. Many of our midwives have additional training in natural and holistic methods such as herbal medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture, aromatherapy or special massage, breathing and relaxation techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
