What is a midwife consultation?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Midwife consultations are an important part of pregnancy care. Expectant mothers receive personalised and individual support from experienced midwives. This special form of counselling complements medical care and offers women the opportunity to discuss all their questions about pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period in an atmosphere of trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our midwife consultations complement the medical check-ups and are carried out according to the current standards of obstetrics. We clarify your individual questions and concerns in an atmosphere of trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We advise you on what you should pay attention to during pregnancy and how you can support your body during this special time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complementary forms of therapy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In addition to general counselling and preventative care, many of our midwives also offer special treatments such as acupuncture or K-taping. Acupuncture, for example, is a proven method for relieving nausea and back pain and is also used to relax and prepare for labour. K-taping, on the other hand, is a modern and particularly gentle form of therapy that effectively helps with back pain and water retention, among other things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
