WE - that is to say, Dr. med. Thomas Füger and Dr. med. Sebastian Reicke. Together, we comprise the medical management of the MIC Centre at the Englischer Garten.
About
Dr. med. Thomas Füger
I am one of Germany’s very few gynaecologists to hold the highest qualification in the field, MIC III.
This certification is awarded by the Association for Gynaecological Endoscopy (AGE) of the German Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGGG) for the highest surgical expertise.
I am a member of the scientific advisory board of the Endometriosis Research Foundation (SEF) and head of our certified clinical Endometriosis Centre.
Dr. med. Sebastian Reicke
I also hold MIC III certification and am head of the MIC Training Centres in accordance with AGE guidelines.
We are active members of numerous scientific societies and are involved in both the further development of endoscopic operation procedures as well as the training of gynaecological surgeons in endoscopic surgical techniques.

The Centre
“Minimal invasive surgery with maximum expertise"
We have set ourselves the goal to meet this requirement for each of our patients by specialising in modern endoscopic surgical techniques. Our technical effort and medical professionalism notwithstanding, humans with their individual needs must always take precedence.
This is ensured by a committed team which set itself highest standards and continually perfect these through ongoing further training. The MIC Centre at the Englischer Garten forms part of Dr. Geisenhofer Women's Clinic GmbH. You will undergo surgery and be hospitalised there.
Dr. Füger, Dr. Reicke and Prof. Dr. med. Tobias Weissenbacher handle the registration and all of the preliminary examinations at their practice.
Certification as an MIC training hospital
In October 2016, the MIC Centre was certified as a training centre by the Association for Gynaecological Endoscopy (AGE) of the German Society of Gynaecology.
Following years of commitment to minimally invasive endoscopic operating techniques for the well-being of our patients and the establishment of highly advanced, quality assured structures including the construction of one of the most modern specialist ORs in Germany, as one of very few appropriately qualified training facilities in Bavaria, we will in future also become intensively involved in the training of the new generation of surgical specialists.
