New main department for obstetrics from April 2024

As an obstetric patient, the main department will be available to you in addition to the existing system of attending physicians. In the future, you will have the choice between obstetric care by the permanent doctors in the main department or by one of our affiliated doctors.

With Dr. Jarchau, we welcome an experienced and highly qualified specialist in gynecology and obstetrics who has additional qualifications in special obstetrics and perinatal medicine according to DEGUM II. Most recently, she worked as senior physician and deputy chief physician at the hospital with the highest birth rate in Berlin Friedrichshain. Dr. From April, Dr. Jarchau will also be in charge of the Dr. Geisenhofer Prenatal Center where she will offer the following examinations:

First trimester screening, preeclampsia screening
Doppler sonography
3D sonography (if medically indicated)
Malformation ultrasound Degum stage II (organ screening, fetal echocardiography)
Risk consultation for gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, growth retardation including birth planning

The prenatal diagnostic examinations take place in Dr. Geisenhofer MVZ, which will also be moving to the area of the women's clinic on April 1st, 2024. From April, our MVZ can be found directly opposite the main building at Hirschauer Str. 6a. You can now make appointments for prenatal diagnostic examinations or birth presentations for births from April onwards:
