Our Women’s and Maternity Clinic is one of Munich’s most long-established obstetric facilities. Since 1940, over 100,000 children have been born here.
We offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care: in addition to basic gynaecological care at our in-house medical centre, we provide obstetric services, a breast centre, an endometriosis centre and a department for neonatal intensive care (neonatology). Our range of services is complemented by plastic and cosmetic surgery.
Every year, we support around 2,000 births in a personalised and trusting atmosphere. To ensure a personalised birth experience, our patients can choose whether they would like to be cared for permanent doctor or from one of our Contract doctors .

Please note:
To ensure our patients have the best possible recovery, only one visitor per patient is permitted in the room at the Dr Geisenhofer Women’s Clinic in Munich. For longer visits or conversations, please make use of our cosy cafeteria with its terrace or the lovely clinic garden. These areas offer a pleasant atmosphere for your visits to our women’s clinic in Munich.

At our maternity clinic in Munich, we regularly hold information evenings on the subject of obstetrics. The aim is to provide expectant parents with comprehensive information and to answer their questions in person. All areas of obstetrics are represented. As a rule, a midwife, paediatrician, gynaecologist and anaesthetist are present. Afterwards, where possible, we will show you one of our delivery rooms.
We kindly ask you to book your place in advance, as the number of places is limited.
Upcoming events for expectant parents
Come along to our free information evening to meet our obstetrics team and get to know our clinic in person. You’ll gain an insight into our in-house procedures and what happens during childbirth at our maternity clinic. Afterwards, we’ll be happy to take the time to answer any questions you may have about pregnancy, childbirth and your stay with us.
For our international parents to be, we also offer pregnancy open evenings in English.
